Hello. Long time, no blogging. I am sorry. I'd like to begin blogging again by sharing a picture of the lovely dress a very sweet doll friend from across the ocean sent me. It is a welcoming gift for Sasha since I bought her not long ago. I've had the dress at least a couple of weeks (and Sasha put it on immediately), and wanted to blog sooner, but I kept holding out for some shoes and socks for her. I've found the shoes I want, but am having difficulty getting a hold of the person who sells them. I decided it was time to quit obsessing over Sasha's lack of footwear, and celebrate this generous gift with all of you. Thank you again, my sweet friend for this gift. It means so much to me.
Thanks for stopping by. =)
I don't think dollies mind being barefoot very much. They all have pretty feet. Sasha's dress is lovely!
ReplyDeleteThank you. They do have cute feet! The only time I think my dolls really minded being barefoot was when our heater went out earlier this month. I covered them up with blankets because looking at them was making me even colder =).

ReplyDeleteShe looks delightful in this dress, so lovely to see her, she is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThank you. It is truly a keepsake, and the friend is a keeper, too. ;-) It is amazing how much more beautiful I think Sasha is in her new dress than in the one she came in. She almost looks like she's smiling now.
DeleteThis dress is so cute, Sasha looks very happy :-).
ReplyDeleteThank you. I agree. She actually looks happier. When I first got her, I called her the sober faced doll. I don't see her that way anymore. I just looked at your two blogs. #1 You are an amazing artist! and #2 I like your unusual collection of dolls and how you dress them. I've only recently heard of Furga dolls. Take care.
DeleteThanks Raine, that's very nice of you :-). You're always welcome!
DeleteThat is a sweet dress and the colours suit your lucky little Sasha's complexion. I love pin-whale corduroy fabric but it is hard to get the right scale of print for dollies.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Lizzie. The dress is even prettier in person than it is in the picture. I'm sorry it took so long to reply. My computer hasn't been working, so I took it to the shop, and it still isn't working well and has to go back. I am limited what I can do online on my phone. Thank you for visiting and commenting.
