Hello. This is an Autumn Leaves Lottie doll. I won her in a giveaway on Beast'sbelle's doll blog, http://nevergrowupdollguide.blogspot.com/ . Thank you, Beast'sbelle! I'm still as excited as a child about having won her. She is only 7 inches tall, and seems very well made. Her hair is shiny, and looks like it will stay nice. I wanted to take her picture somewhere other than my desktop, but she's made herself at home here, so the desktop it is. This is a reasonably priced line of dolls (currently available on Amazon), and I love how young and innocent she looks. Her clothes are well made and as you can see, very detailed. She even came with a little winter jacket, scarf and hat. Thank you for stopping by.
"I like this guy. He has big eyes just like me!" |
"Now if it would only cool off in the southern United States." |
"I'm just the right size to go exploring." |
Well it has certainly cooled down here...it is freezing! She is so sweet...I am tempted to have a look on Amazon!
ReplyDeleteThank you, Serenata. You are so lucky! I love cold weather (and I love England). No wonder you've been knitting little sweater dresses. I highly encourage you to not only look at the Lotties on Amazon, but to buy one for your dolly family. I am afraid I am unable to be a good influence when it comes to buying dolls. I think there is always room for one more and each one seems to bring it's own sunshine. =)
ReplyDeleteLottie looks very happy in her new home. :) It looks like you might need to keep an eye on her, though. She looks pretty inquisitive. ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you, beastsbelle. We are certainly enjoying her. And you're right, she does need to be watched closely. She managed to get into my purse and go out to eat with my parents and my daughter and I last Saturday. My parent's were delighted with her too. =)
DeleteShe looks like she'll be a handful! Those mischievous eyes! Will you sew for her? Teeny-Tiny little clothes. What fun!
ReplyDeleteShe does look like she has plans for more mischief. I'd love to take her to work with me and pose her on my forklift, but since 95% of my coworkers are male, I'd hate to think what kind of impression I would make photographing a doll. Sad though, she'd fit perfectly into my cup holder. I may knit or crochet for her, but the teeny tiny sewing I'll leave up to her Auntie Audra. You're better at tiny sewing than I am. =)
DeleteWhat a cute, cute little doll!!! I love all her clothes, she certainly has style. She's a lovely size to knit for too, I agree that teeny sewing is difficult, it can be fiddly for an 18" doll.
